I just had my first session for laser hair removal today. Have any of you guys done it??

My favorite lipstick. Nars Cruising. It’s the best neutral color with a hint of pink. I’m not a nude lipstick kind of person. I prefer neutral..something like your lip color but better :)

You can’t get rid of your pores. They’re genetics and as you age, they will get bigger. When they’re big you can’t shrink them down either. The correct term is making your pores appear smaller. To make them appear smaller, you really have to take care of your face. Get all the gunk out of your pores.
1. Wash your face twice a day. Use something gentle in the morning and use something stronger at night. I suggest using a gentle daily exfoliating scrub. Remember, only twice a day. Over washing will irritate your skin.
2. Use a face mask one a week. This will really clean deep down in your pores.
3. Exfoliate one a week. You need to scrub your face to get rid of all the dead cells to have a smoother complexion.
4. (Optional) Use a toner. Using a toner will help clean all the stuff that your cleaner missed. Toners will also help minimize the appearance of you pores. Using a toner is optional. I have really oily skin so my pores are bigger and more noticeable so I have to use a toner.
Taking care of your face is very important. I don’t mind spending a lot on skin care products. But if you are on a budget, there are many face masks you can do at home.

Oily Skin
Oily skin is caused by over secretion of the oil glands. Oily skin is less prone to aging and wrinkling than other skin types, since the abundance of oil helps keep moisture from evaporating from the epidermis. On the other hand, clogged pores and blackheads are perennial problems for people with oily skin and care is needed to keep dead skin cells from sticking together and piling up in layers on the skin’s surface. Oily skin is thick, with large pores clearly visible everywhere except around the eyes and neck.
Dry Skin
Dry skin occurs when the oil glands don’t product sufficient oil to lubricate the skin properly. Dry skin is thin and often flaky, with virtually invisible pores. It is likely to have many fine wrinkles and it tends to be easily irritated.
Combination Skin
Combination skin is just what the name implies, a combination of dry, oily or normal areas on the skin that may vary day to day, seasonally, or with environmental or dietary changes. Most people fall into this category and may need to change products seasonally to adapt to the changing needs of the skin.
Blotchy Skin
If you notice consistent redness on skin, extreme sensitivity, broken capillaries or if you have been diagnosed with Rosacea, products selected for you will generally be more mild and soothing.
The best way to tell your skin type is to closely observe your skin in the morning.
Do you see a lot of shine in the t-zone or all over? If so then you probably have oily skin.
Does your skin feel normal, with minimal shine or dry patches? Then you have normal or combination skin.
Tight and flaky skin upon waking certainly means you have dry skin.
If it is red, irritated, very sensitive, or you see broken capillaries, then you have blotchy skin.
If you have oily skin and have to constantly blot your face all day, try milk of magnesia. There is magnesium hydroxide and sodium hypochlorite in this which helps absorbs the oil. Use this as a primer. So apply after your moisturizer and before your foundation. Don’t use a brush because it’ll leave streaks and don’t use a cotton ball because it’ll soak up all the products. Use the foundation sponge. ONLY get the Phillips and brand and make sure it’s original. It’s around $3 at you drugstore.

Ever wondered why people spray their perfumes on the wrist and neck? Because that’s wear our pulse is the strongest. And every time there’s a “thump”, making the perfume come out stronger.
If you’re trying to prevent or get rid of acne, the biggest mistake is washing your face too much. Washing your face too much will irritate your skin. Wash twice a day and exfoliate 1-2 times a week. I use Aveeno face wash and using it at the morning and at night irritated my skin and actually broke me out. So I only use a deep clean cleanser in the morning and a gentle cleanser like Cetaphil at night. Most times, I just use a cleansing water.
